🏛 Federal Testimony — Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC)
Date: April 28, 2026
On April 28, 2026, Pure Living Family's founder delivered oral public comment before the Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC), the federal advisory committee that coordinates autism research, services, and policy across HHS, NIH, and other federal agencies. The comment shared how peer-led community events and functional wellness approaches are improving quality of life for families navigating autism and complex neurological conditions, and advocated for expanded federal research funding into caregiver-focused, community-based models of support.
🏛️ Utah State Capitol Testimony
Date: March 2024
In March 2024, Pure Living Family's founder testified before Utah state lawmakers at the Utah State Capitol, advocating for expanded legal access to psychedelic-assisted therapy for parents and caregivers of children with special needs, citing its potential to help address caregiver burnout and mental health.
