A Refreshing Weekend with Pure Living Family
I recently attended a retreat with Pure Living Family, designed specifically for autism moms, and it was a transformative experience. As special needs parents, the constant demands can leave us feeling drained and isolated. This retreat offered the perfect opportunity to step away and connect with other moms who truly understand our challenges.
Sharing stories, laughter, and even tears with women on the same journey brought a sense of belonging I didn’t know I needed. The support and understanding created an atmosphere of acceptance and renewal. The weekend not only provided a much-needed break from caregiving but also reminded us of the importance of self-care.
The connections made will last far beyond the retreat, offering a continued source of encouragement and strength. I highly recommend this retreat to any autism mom looking for support, rest, and a reminder that we are never alone on this path.
I’m beyond grateful for this incredible opportunity and have remained in contact with many women in my new found support system

Dear Pure Family Living
I wanted to reach out to thank you and share my personal experience with the PLF Mom’s Retreat that I attended the weekend of August 9–11.
It was an extraordinary weekend. Admittedly, it’s not the kind of thing I would normally do—spend a weekend away from my family to process my feelings with a group of strangers. But it was a true privilege to be among the women who attended and to experience everything the retreat had to offer.
From the beautiful setting in Sundance to the surprise gifts that kept appearing throughout the weekend, to the wonderful food—every detail was thoughtfully planned. But perhaps most impactful of all were the guided sound baths, the grief circle, and the safety I felt in sharing both the joys and struggles of mothering a child with a disability. These moments will stay with me. Mindy, who led these powerful experiences of self-discovery and sisterhood, was incredibly skilled in her practice.
So thank you, from the bottom of my heart. And thank you to your generous donors who made this weekend possible. It was exactly what I didn’t know I needed. I came home feeling renewed in my motherhood and more motivated in my work to create space in this world for individuals like my son.
